Title: Of Mice and Men
Author: John Steinbeck
Review: Of Mice and Men is a story of two unlikely friends. George and Lennie have been fired from one ranch because of Lennie's special needs. They get hired at another ranch, and begin to make their fantasy of a ranch of their own a real plan. They start to get settled and make some money, but soon a girl on the ranch gets in the way of their plans. Lennie can't control his own strength, and accidentally kills the girl. Even though Lennie has messed up again, George isn't mad because he knows Lennie can't help it. He likes his company, and even though it would be easier without him, he says friends with Lennie. Of Mice and Men is definitely a great book, and though a little weird at times, it teaches a great lesson....Link to catalog

Her life was turned upside down when she moved into a beautiful new home, got new clothes, started going to private school, and met many new people. After leaving her old life, she can't find her place in this new world. Only Nate, the optimistic and popular boy living next door, seems to understand....Link to catalog
