Welcome to the Haverhill Public Library Children's Department Summer Reading Adventure for 2012! Our theme this year is "Dream Big! Read! @ your Library!" and we are going to look at all those things that mean "night!" like nocturnal animals and stars. We are taking you right out into space. Start as an astronaut and go to the sky, to the planets, the sun, to infinity and beyond! Get signed up for the Summer Reading Program. Keep track of all the books you are reading, and see how far you can go! You can start logging in your time, and listing your book titles on Sunday, June 24th.
If you have reached the partial library goal of 25 hours by August 4th, you will earn... a Topsfield Fair packet! That includes an admission ticket to the Topsfield Fair for those 8 and up (under 8 are free, anyway!) a hot dog and drink voucher, 2 ride tickets and a ribbon! And those who reach the overall goal of 40 hours by the end of the summer will receive a free book. Anyone who makes it all the way to 50 hours, gets to hang a rocketship in the Children's Room!!
