Famous Flea Circus
Thursday, July 14 6:30pm.
It is an entire big top circus in miniature!! The audience will be thrilled and amazed at incredible demonstrations starring Ed’s trained fleas. Why a Flea Circus this summer you may ask? The first flea circus was performed in Europe during the 1820’s.

A World of Lego Building
Wed. July 13, 20 & 27th at 10:30am.
Meet to create Lego structures based on themes given using the library's Lego brick collection. LEGO structures will then displayed in the library until the next LEGO Club meeting. For ages 5 & up. Drop in!


KID'S MARKET
Thurs, July 21 5:30 to 7:30pm.
Calling all young entrepreneurs!
Kids, bring your handmade, homemade goods
to sell, trade, and barter. No store bought goods can be sold. Make cards, paintings, baggies of homemade goodies... & keep your profits! Bring
a sign advertising your business, visible pricing of your wares, money to make change, and a smile
to WOW your customers!
*You must be a Granby Library Summer Reading Program participant to reserve a FREE space, sign up at the library to reserve one. Provide your own table or blanket to display your wares. To be held in the pavilion weather permitting.

Lego World Championship Challenge Wed. Aug. 3rd 10:30am.
Take part in the Lego building challenge to create a themed Lego creation to be announced that day. Bring your imagination, we will provide a bag a bricks for you to build from. Builders will have ½ hour to complete the task. You must pre-register. Age 5-8 yr old & 9-13 yr old categories. Prizes!



Summer Reading Program Finale Family Fun!
Thurs, August 4 at 6:30pm.
Come celebrate with a performance by the award winning Caravan Puppets
feature world tales and original stories. Audiences are treated to a wide diversity of puppets and puppetry styles with beautiful staging and original music.
We will be serving up Homemade Italian Ice from Cindy's Drive-In in Lemon & Watermelon flavors. Free ~ Drop By!

Summer Reading BOOK BUCKS
Earn Book Bucks through reading! Earn 1 Book Buck for every 2 hours that you read. Between June 22nd & August 3rd you may fill in a spot on your logsheet each time you read an hour. After you fill out 2 spots on your logsheet ask a parent fill out a book buck for you. PARENTS, PLEASE ASK YOUR CHILD ABOUT THEIR READING! You may record up to 2 hours of reading per day. Extra time may not be carried over to the next day.

Spending Book Bucks
Book Cart Buy a Book for 2 Book Bucks.
Books will be the primary prizes this year.
Raffles Each Book Buck can be used as a raffle ticket.
Treasure Chest For 1 Book Buck choose an item from the treasure chest. The treasure chest will have different items each week.
Book Buck Buys Occasionally we will have an assortment of items to buy with Book Bucks (dependent on donations of such items)
Prize Packs = 6 Book Bucks Bring your logsheet into the library when you want to purchase a prize pack for 6 book bucks. 1 prize pack per child. Prize packs include a Cindy’s Ice Cream Cone coupon & more!

THE GREAT GRANBY LIBRARY
FLAMINGO FLOCK FIND
JULY 4 – AUGUST 27

Do not miss out on this novel summer-long hunt for a flock of flamingos that have escaped from the Granby Library!

THE SOON-TO- BE FAMOUS
FLAMINGOS will be decorated to blend in with the decor of area businesses, so grab your binoculars !

Here's how you can play:
*For a $5 donation we will give you an official Flamingo Flock Find sheet to write down the locations that you spot our library flamingos throughout the summer.

*Each week try to spot 2 new & different flamingos in town at businesses with the help of our riddle clues to be posted at the library & on the library website. Going on vacation? As long as you have a Flamingo Flock Find sheet
we will give you the locations you missed while you were away.

*From August 30th – Sept. 7 Bring your completed Flamingo Flock Find sheet to the library with the right locations and you will receive a raffle ticket good for some great prizes for all ages. Have fun!

Join in for the joy of the flamingo hunt, while helping to build a new library!


MOM 2 Mom Sale - Coming this Fall!
Saturday, October 15 9am – 1pm.
A huge indoor tag sale where parents can sell baby items, children's clothes, toys...clean up and clear out this summer and reserve a space come fall for this fun event. To serve as a fundraiser for the Library Building Fund we will ask for a table rental & small admission donation. A Baked Goods & Coffee Table will be available!
*Reserve a space beginning September 1st
