ReviewsReview: I gave this book a five because It was very intresting tense and real. It is about Lola Rein a young girl going through Holocaust and World war 2.She has lost her parents and now her grandmother is sending her off to hide. she has to hide in a home and then a dirt hole in a barn. However if you get very sad when you read sad stories this probably isn't a book for you but if you like exciting, sad stories like me I recommend this book to you. Also I don't recommend this book to small children who don't understand what the the Holocaust is....All Western MA C/W MARS Libraries Catalog Title: Lola Rein Kaufman with Lois Metzger Author: The Hidden Girl A True Story of the Holocaust Rate this book on a scale of 1 - 5. She practices even though the toes shoes aren't comfortable. She gets a part and practices more for the show.
