Important Messages

Hi, everyone: Well, we had a great summer at the library, with 121 people participating in the Summer Reading Program, and at last count, 29 finishers. Congratulations to all of you who read this summer, and to the parents/caregivers who did a lot of work, too! BTW, if you finished and did not receive your prizes, please come in anytime (within reason) for your prizes/certificates. Please bring your documentation, too, unless you kept track on-line (in that case, make sure your on-line documentation is updated.


For those of you who missed it, the SRP Finale was one of the best we've ever had. It was sooooo much fun! Thanks go to Jessica Bacon who generously and gloriously volunteered her time to run the games. Thanks to Helen Madore who was our campfire "girl" and to Michelle Lupien who performed much-needed tasks all night long. And thanks most of all to those children and parents who attended and made the evening such a blast.
NOW--next on the agenda will be our Stars of Boylston Talent Show which will take place on Saturday August 29th. at 10:30 p.m. at the Boylston Congregational Church. We have a bunch of kids signed up, but it's not too late to join. Please let me know asap if there is a child in your family who would like to perform his/her talent in a lovely, non-judgmental atmosphere. However, please let me know asap so I can add him/her to the program. Also, we welcome non-performing audience members. The more, the merrier. Thanks!
